Research Fora has a strict policy against plagiarism in all forms. Plagiarism is defined as the intentional or unintentional use of
someone else's work or ideas without proper citation or reference.
Plagiarism Check Before Publication
Research Fora uses the Asian Society of Plagiarism in Higher Education & Research (ASPHER) percentage-based system to measure plagiarism.
If plagiarism is found by an editorial board member, reviewer, or editor during the review stage or pre-publication stage, the author will be
immediately notified. The author will be required to re-write or properly cite the sources of the plagiarized content. If plagiarism exceeds 25%,
the manuscript may be rejected and the author will be notified.

All submitted manuscripts for publication are checked for plagiarism before the review process begins
Handling Plagiarism
Plagiarism is categorized into different levels and dealt with accordingly:
- < 5% Plagiarism: The paper will be given an ID and sent back to the author for editing the plagiarized content.
- 5- 30% Plagiarism: The paper will not be given an ID and will be sent back to the author for modification of the content.
- 30% Plagiarism: The manuscript will be rejected without review and the author will be notified to revise and resubmit.
Why Manuscripts with >30% Plagiarism are Rejected
Manuscripts with more than 30% plagiarism are typically not revised by the author, and therefore are rejected. However, the author is welcome to edit and address the plagiarism issues and resubmit the manuscript
